Skin-treatment price research methodology
A price range can be checked only when the raw observations and calculation rules are available. The next DermaColumn price dataset will retain the fields below for every row.
Status of the current price guide
The ranges in p55 are editorial orientation ranges checked against public price pages and market guides in August 2026.
The raw rows and sample size behind each number were not retained completely. The page is not a statistical sample and does not report a median. Use it only to understand the approximate position of a quote until the next dataset is published.

Inclusion and exclusion
We include official clinic price pages and individual public listing pages that a reader can inspect without a private login.
We exclude consultation-only prices, unclear packages, prices with no verifiable unit and duplicate clinics from calculations, recording the reason.
Calculation
We do not combine normal and event prices. For the same clinic and configuration, only the latest row in the collection period is used.
Minimum, maximum and median are calculated only within the same geography and normalised unit, with sample size shown. When the sample is too small, we label the result as an observed range rather than a median.
Unit normalisation
Lifting treatments are compared by shot count, injectables by cc or vial, microneedling by tip and area, and lasers by session and area.
Different devices or products are not merged into one sample solely because their marketing category is similar.
Exchange rate and tax
Korean won is the source value. Foreign currencies are reference conversions with a public exchange-rate source and reference date, such as the Bank of Korea ECOS system.
A price with unconfirmed VAT status is not presented as a final payable amount.
Change log
Each dataset version records collection period, source count, valid sample, excluded rows and calculation changes.
A raw-data error is recorded as a correction rather than disguised as a market movement.
