Translation tools and generative AI may assist with drafts, terminology and format checks. Publication responsibility remains with the editorial team and the named authors or reviewers.
Translation
We localise search language, medical terminology and travel context rather than translating word for word.
A translation must not add an effect, risk or price that is absent from the source copy.
Generative AI
Generative AI may assist with a draft, summary, translation candidate or structural check.
AI-generated sources, credentials, prices and clinical claims are not published without verification.
Human editing
Before publication, a human editor checks the title, facts, links, language leakage, internal links and labels.
A new claim requiring medical judgement may need separate medical review.
Privacy
We do not enter identifiable patient information or private clinical records into public generative AI tools.
Cases require appropriate consent and de-identification.
Errors
An error introduced by translation or AI assistance follows the corrections policy.
Tool use does not transfer accountability away from DermaColumn.
