Preparing records for care after returning home
Check this first
If a symptom persists or appears after you return home, give your local clinician more than the treatment name. Bring the product or device, dose or settings and a symptom timeline. For an emergency sign, local emergency care comes before messaging the Korean clinic.
Collect before departure
Ask for clinical and procedure records, consent and aftercare instructions, product and manufacturer, lot, dose and injection sites, device, tip and settings, prescriptions, receipts, original photos and any emergency-department records.
One-page summary
In time order, record the procedure, first symptom, clinic contacts, care received and current status. Keep the Korean originals with translations and preserve original photo timestamps.
Use local care first
For a vision, breathing or consciousness problem or a rapidly worsening condition, use the emergency number or emergency department where you are now rather than waiting for the Korean clinic to reply.
