Hyaluronic acid (HA)

A water-binding substance. The main material in most fillers.

The same hyaluronic acid does different work depending on where it goes. On the surface it holds water; in the upper dermis it works on texture; in the deep layer it adds volume.

Unlike other families, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
